Dotlinesurface is an independent lifestyle product brand founded in 2021. We blend creativity and technical expertise to create a distinctive range of leather accessories and bags. Our designs are shaped through the perspective of an industrial designer who values timeless and sculptural aesthetics.
Designed for the conscious consumer, our artful objects combine beauty and practicality, bridging the gap between classic and modern design. They effortlessly harmonize with your daily attire and space, aging well with your lifestyle. Each piece is meticulously crafted and ethically handmade, showcasing elevated craftsmanship and responsible sourcing.

We believe good design is long-lasting. Our aim at Dotlinesurface is to create a permanent and thoughtful collection that can last a lifetime. Our architectural aesthetic and structural approach reinvents familiar silhouettes, highlighted by our iconic components and enriched with perennial base colors and a few seasonal shades.
Based on that foundation, our approach revolves around a season-less rollout. We work in small, incremental batches, allowing ample space for experimentation and refinement. Our goal is to create finely crafted pieces, viewing the styles we periodically release as enduring core collections. Reproducing sold-out styles is contingent upon sustained demand. We deliberately avoid the conventional fashion industry practice of seasonal clearance sales.
Our workshops
Good quality and innovative design always develop in tandem with professional craftsmanship. Each of our handbags is handmade and skillfully crafted in a Seoul boutique by veteran artisans.
Our homeware collection is produced on an intimate scale in an atelier in the US by proficient leather crafters. Based on quality craftsmanship and precise techniques, each piece is meticulously made using handpicked upholstery-grade leather that is durable and sturdy.
Sustainable efforts
When using natural materials, the sourcing and waste management are crucial in sustainability.
We source our leather from an Italian tannery that meets the rigorous standards of EU nations and the USDA. They hold certifications and awards such as USDA's Biobased Product, Der Blauer Engel, Oeko-Tex Leather Standard, Leather Naturally, and Green L.I.F.E. The leather we use creates 0 greenhouse gases in the manufacturing, with at least 75% of its contents being renewable carbon, unlike synthetic materials.
To minimize inordinate waste and packing materials, we avoid unnecessary paper box packaging and plastics. Our pieces are wrapped in biodegradable tissue papers, stickers, shipping box and paper tapes. For dust cover, we use a sustainable and premium quality cotton canvas pouch made by a Certified B-Corporation, a social enterprise pursuing fully traceable process has positive impact on the planet.
